- The Penny Arcade building was located at 101 Street and 102 Avenue. The building on 1905 Street is a reconstruction
- These types of buildings were considered low-class establishments where drifters, trouble makers and the unemployed spent their time.

- The International Employment Agency was located in the Penny Arcade building from 1912 to 1914. Because the arcade attracted a lot of unemployed men it was the perfect place to find men to work.
