  • The original location of the Dominion Land Office was on 100 Avenue and 102 Street. This building is not the original office, but another building of the same built about 1900 in Fort Saskatchewan.
  • The Dominion Land Offices administered the Dominion Land Act whose terms were for settlers to be granted land for ten dollars with a stipulation that a dwelling had to be constructed and a specified number of acres had to be cultivated.
